I’d like to read a comment to the performance of the IC7300 between all these K3. There is some discussion at the 7300-forum at Yahoo about problems with it in a multi-station setup.
So far the 7300 is working fine. Initially we used a Dunestar bandpass filter on it, which did not give sufficient isolation between 20m (K3) and 30m (IC7300), and the “OVF” indicator appeared when 20m was transmitting. Swapping that for a 5B4AGN filter instead, which gives better rejection of 20m, solved the problem.
Nice to work Geoff GM0DDX/M in Port Ellen this afternoon, Monday 8th on 40M CW
Many thanks Lawrence for 40m contact. FT817 in kitchen…

Thanks to all for making Marian (GM1DCB) and myself (GM3PAK) so welcome when we called in last week. And particular thanks for all the help and information you gave to this old-timer, in helping me to catch up with modern technology and equipment – particularly aerials.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Islay the next time you are across.
