I’d like to read a comment to the performance of the IC7300 between all these K3. There is some discussion at the 7300-forum at Yahoo about problems with it in a multi-station setup.
So far the 7300 is working fine. Initially we used a Dunestar bandpass filter on it, which did not give sufficient isolation between 20m (K3) and 30m (IC7300), and the “OVF” indicator appeared when 20m was transmitting. Swapping that for a 5B4AGN filter instead, which gives better rejection of 20m, solved the problem.
Nice to work Geoff GM0DDX/M in Port Ellen this afternoon, Monday 8th on 40M CW
Many thanks Lawrence for 40m contact. FT817 in kitchen…
